WHAT IS THE SIZE OF THE DIVISION ?

         The Counties of Herefordshire, Worcestershire and various parts of Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire and Warwickshire (including Birmingham), all form part of the area of nearly 4,900 square miles which is served by the Midlands Division.

         There are fourteen major power stations and over five hundred circuit miles of 132,000 Volt overhead power lines, which need over four thousand people to operate and maintain them.
