are 2d. per week, which is a small sum compared with the benefits obtainable in time of need.

18. BOILER SUITS AND HAND TOWELS
       When you commence your duties at this station you will be provided with two overalls and two hand towels on loan. Each year you can exchange one suit of overalls and two hand towels for new ones, if the old ones are worn out. On the termination of your employment the latest two issues of overalls and towels must be returned to the Stores. Failure to do this will result in the value of the articles being deducted from your wages.
       A laundry Service for hand towels is available. To take advantage of it you must obtain a Towel Number from the Stores Supervisor when handing in your first soiled towel. Soiled towels must be handed in to the Stores and clean ones collected on Fridays, DAY workers between 13.30 and 14.00 hours and SHIFT workers between 14.45 and 15.15.

19. PROTECTIVE CLOTHING
       Protective clothing will be issued, where required, and you will be responsible for its care.
       All issues must be made available for inspection on request, and must not be removed from the station under any circumstances. On leaving the Board's employ all clothing, keys, tools. etc., must be returned to the Stores.
       Safety helmets are provided and must be worn whilst working inside buildings or under structures in the course of construction.
       During the constructional period of the Station all employees must remain in the operational areas in which they are working. Entry into the constructional areas is forbidden unless permission is previously obtained.

20. MOTOR VEHICLES
       All private motor vehicles brought onto the site will be subject to the Board's regulations. The Board accepts no responsibility for any motor car brought to the site.
       Driving of Board's vehicles must only be undertaken by authorized drivers who are holders of a current driving licence.
