Should a fire occur, tackle it quickly in the approved manner. If you require further assistance telephone the Station Control Room, Telephone Number 232 giving the LOCATION of the fire and as many details as possible.
       Instruction in the use of portable fire extinguishers, fire pumps and breathing apparatus will be given at regular intervals.

13. CHANGES IN PERSONAL CIRCUMSTANCES
       You must notify any changes in address, marital circumstances, children, dependents, etc., to the Station Administrative Officer as soon as possible.

14. PERSONAL PROBLEMS
       There are a number of people to help you if you have any personal problems which are troubling you. These matters are, of course, dealt with in the strictest confidence. Interviews with the Station Superintendent should be arranged through your Head of Department.

15. GRIEVANCES AND COMPLAINTS
       The Works Committee will discuss matters arising from the application of the N.J.I.C. Agreement relating to the terms and conditions of your employment.
       The Local Advisory Committee will discuss and make recommendations to management on matters of Safety, Health, Welfare and Efficiency.
       Employees should discuss any grievances or complaints in the first place with the Head of his/her Department.
       Get to know your Works Committee and Local Advisory Committee representative, who will help and advise where possible.

16. SUPERANNUATION
       A voluntary membership scheme is available, subject to qualifications regarding service (1 year), age (maximum 55) and medical examination. Details are available through the Station Administrative Officer.
