If another employee's card is clocked in error, or the employee's own card incorrectly clocked, this must be reported to the Head of the employee's Department immediately. Failure to clock in or out may mean loss of pay unless the Clock Card is signed by the Head of the Department.

4. TIME SHEETS
Shift Workers employed on Repairs and Maintenance, Coal and Ash Plant Operational Workers and Day Workers (except those exempt because of no variation in their duties) will complete and sign a DAILY TIME NOTE.
A WEEKLY TIME SHEET will be completed by the Wages Clerk from these notes.
Shift Workers on Operation duties (Unit Operators, Assistants, A.P.A's and Oilers and Greasers) will not normally be required to complete DAILY TIME NOTES as job allocations do not vary. If work is undertaken on a normal day off, or on overtime additional to a normal shift, then a Daily Time Note is required.
All Time Notes will be obtained from, and when completed returned to, the place designated by the Head of your Department.

5. PAYMENT OF WAGES
Payment for the week Friday to Thursday, will be made on the following Thursday between 13.50 and 14.50 hours.
It is essential that you check the contents of your pay packet in accordance with the printed instructions thereon, while still in the vicinity of the Pay Office.
Each employee must collect his/her own wages, unless he/she has authorised another person to do so by completing and signing Form R79 which can be obtained from the Wages Clerk.

6. TIMEKEEPING AND SHIFT RELIEVING
Good timekeeping is essential and disciplinary action will be taken against any employee who, without good reason, is persistently late.
All operational shift workers will relieve the outgoing shift on the Plant under their control. Under no circumstances must shift change-overs take place anywhere else.
Maintenance shift workers will clock on and off at the specified times.
